Keratin Complex

Keratin complex

Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment is an in-salon treatment that works by infusing and enveloping the hair with Keratin to reinforce weak spots in the hair’s structure. Over time Keratin is depleted from the hair due to a variety of environmental factors and daily stressors. This treatment helps repair damage created by heat styling, colouring, sun, chlorine and salt water.

Tame the Frizz

Keratin is sealed into the cuticle throughout the heating process to repair damage and block the humidity that causes frizz. This treatment works on all hair types but is especially beneficial for taming frizzy hair that has excessive ‘flyaway’ strands. The hair becomes soft, silky and smooth. This Keratin Complex smoothing treatment is cumulative; the more treatments you have, the healthier your hair becomes.

Colour First

Keratin is compatible with professional hair colour and helps to create even more shine and manageability. When colouring hair, it is best to colour it before the Keratin service; enabling the service to act as a colour locking treatment.  If you are planning to colour treat your hair after your Keratin service, ensure this is done no sooner than 14 days after the Keratin treatment.

72 hours later

After the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment, you must not get the hair wet for 72 hours. After this period of time, it is imperative that the Keratin Complex Shampoo and Conditioner are used to ensure the smoothing treatments longevity. During the 72 hours you should wear your hair down and withhold from using pins, clips or hair ties as this could dent the hair. If your hair does get wet, we suggest you blow-dry it on a low heat and lightly flat iron the hair with GHDs if necessary.
